        FAQs

Why are we offering this service?

Because wireless service shouldn’t be a financial burden. It’s essential, but it shouldn’t cost a fortune.

        What makes INT Mobile different?

Other prepaid carriers promise simplicity but still have fine print and hidden fees. We don’t.

Is the price really "all in"?

Yes. Taxes and fees are included—$300/year is exactly what you pay.

        What networks are available?

Right now, we’re partnered with T-Mobile, but Verizon and AT&T are coming soon.

        How does INT Mobile work?

INT Mobile is not a reseller. We provide access to our corporate mobile plan, powered by T-Mobile (coming soon: AT&T and Verizon).

Who am I paying for my service?

        You will pay INT Mobile.

Will my phone work with INT Mobile?

To use INT Mobile, you’ll need an unlocked phone. That means your device isn’t tied to any specific carrier and can accept SIM cards from different providers. Most phones bought directly from manufacturers or retailers like Apple, Google, or Amazon are unlocked by default. If you got your phone through a carrier, it may still be locked to their network. To check compatibility and get help figuring out if your phone is ready to go, head over to ourDevice Compatibility FAQ.

Does this affect my service quality?

Not at all! You will still get full access to the carrier’s network, with the same great coverage and reliability.

Who will I go to for tech support?

For technical support, you will contact your carrier directly (e.g., T-Mobile) just like any standard customer – just provide your phone number and they will be able to assist you.

Where will I go to manage my subscription?

INT Mobile will manage your subscription, but you will be able to view your account by navigating to …. If you want to update your subscription, simply let us know and we’ll take care of the changes for you.

Can I manage multiple lines in the same account?

No; you will need to open a separate account in order to manage a separate line.

        Do you sell phones?

We do not. You will need to bring your own *unlocked* phone.

Do you have any recommendations when it comes to purchasing a phone?
        • If you don’t need the latest model, a refurbished device can save you money while still offering solid performance. Many people upgrade for slight camera improvements, but the differences between generations have become more negligible—meaning a refurbished phone might be your best value. You can check out Backmarket or other reputable sources that offer certified refurbished phones at lower prices.
        • Alternatively, you can buy directly from the manufacturer, like Apple or Samsung. Buying directly from the manufacturer ensures you get an unlocked device, and you may be able to finance your phone over 24 months for more manageable payments. Furthermore, many manufacturers run special deals, trade-in offers, or bundle discounts—check AppleSamsung, and other brands to see the latest promotions that could save you money.
Do you offer device protection plans?
        • We do not, since we don’t sell devices directly.
        • If you are purchasing a new or refurbished device, we recommend checking with the seller for available protection plans.
        • Bringing your own phone? You can find a variety of third-party providers that offer device protection with a quick online search. Popular options include Lemonade, Allstate, and Asurion.
Can I transfer my current provider device protection plan to my INT Mobile plan?
        • No; you will not be able to bring over any current device protection plans when switching to INT Mobile, including T-Mobile device protection plans.
What is the myth of free phones, and why are they not truly free?

The myth of free phones refers to the misleading idea that mobile phones offered by carriers or retailers are truly free. In reality, these deals often come with hidden costs and conditions. To get a “free” phone, you usually have to sign a long-term contract (typically 24–36 months), trade in a newer device, or commit to a specific plan. The phone’s cost is often offset through monthly bill credits, which you lose if you cancel early, leaving you to pay the remaining balance. Additional fees like activation, upgrades, or higher service rates may also apply. Plus, these offers are usually limited to specific models and may only be available to new customers or in certain regions. So while the phone may seem free upfront, you’re paying for it in other ways, making the term “free” more of a marketing tactic than a reality.
